St. Louis Blues prospects shine in top 100 NHL draft rankings

The St. Louis Blues have four prospects inside Scott Wheeler’s latest top 100 NHL-drafted rankings, with center Tynan Lawrence leading the charge at No. 27.

Which Blues prospects cracked the top 100?

The Athletic’s summer 2026 edition of Wheeler’s rankings placed four St. Louis prospects inside the top 100. Tynan Lawrence sits at 27, followed by Dalibor Dvorsky at 37. Justin Carbonneau and Adam Jiricek also made the cut, while Otto Stenberg and Theo Lindstein were among the final cuts in Tier 6.

What makes Tynan Lawrence stand out?

Lawrence is the Blues’ top prospect, ranked 27th overall and 11th among centers. The 17-year-old turns 18 on August 3 and was the top center in the 2025 draft before an injury delayed his season. He made the jump to NCAA hockey but struggled early before showing his two-way game, skating and puck creativity. Wheeler notes Lawrence’s quick release and ability to drive play to the slot, though he can overhandle at times.

How did Dalibor Dvorsky perform?

Dvorsky ranked 37th overall and 15th among centers. His defensive reliability makes him a potential third-line center who can score 20 goals. Wheeler highlights Dvorsky’s heavy, accurate shot on the power play and in transition, but says his skating acceleration needs work to reach top-six upside. He relies on puck movement and body positioning to create space.

What’s next for these prospects?

Lawrence and Dvorsky headline a Blues pipeline that includes Carbonneau and Jiricek, both first-round picks in the past four drafts. The Blues sit ninth in the Western Conference with a 37-33 record and are on a four-game winning streak. Their next game is against the Dallas Stars on September 19, 2026.
